Lower School Robotics Teams Shine at CIJE VEX Go Competition

°µÍøAV Academy’s Rivka Heisler’s Lower School robotics teams, comprised of fifteen 4th and 5th graders, took on the challenge at the CIJE VEX Go Robotics competition, hosted by MDS. The event brought together 88 teams from 16 Jewish Day Schools across the tri-state area, creating an exciting and energetic atmosphere filled with buzzing robots and innovative problem-solving.
°µÍøAV students have been hard at work in Morah Rivka’s afterschool robotics program, and their preparation truly paid off! During the competition, each °µÍøAV team collaborated with six other teams on the playing field, forming quick alliances and communicating seamlessly with students they had never met before – a true test of their teamwork and adaptability.
One of the °µÍøAV teams earned the First Place banner, a major accomplishment that will soon be proudly displayed at °µÍøAV Academy. Another team earned Second Place medals, and a third team tied for Third Place, rounding out an impressive set of victories for °µÍøAV!
Throughout the day, the students showcased exceptional sportsmanship, collaboration, and technical skills, making their °µÍøAV family proud. Congratulations to all the participants for their incredible effort and success – the future is bright with these young engineers leading the way!
